Introduction

With the CallerDesk website call tracker, your customers are immediately transferred to your support team, without ever leaving your website.

Step 1: Access the Widget section: After logging in, navigate to the Widget section of the Callerdesk dashboard left bar. This is where you’ll find all the available widgets.

Click on Voice Reach > Web Call Tracker, then click on “Add Widget.”

STEP 2: Next, fill in the widget information:

Once you’ve selected the Web Call Tracker widget popup, you can customize its settings according to your preferences. You can choose options such as live call back, SMS lead capture, email lead capture, and direct connect on WhatsApp.

  • First, paste the URL of the website in the first box.
  • Configure live call back option: To enable live call back, enter your phone number or select a phone number from Callerdesk’s available options. This will allow customers to request a callback directly from your website. For this, Choose a DeskPhone number from the call group. Select a call group or user to connect with your client’s call.
  • Set up SMS lead capture: If you want to capture leads via SMS, enter your phone number. This will enable visitors to send a text message on your given mobile phone that captures their lead information.You can also turn this feature off by clicking on “No.”
  • Enable email lead capture: To capture leads through email, provide an email address where you want to receive these leads. Visitors can fill in their details on your website and submit them directly as an email. You can also turn this feature off by clicking on “No.”
  • Connect with WhatsApp: If you wish to allow direct connection on WhatsApp, enter your WhatsApp number to connect with your website visitors.
  • Paste your company’s Terms & Policies URL of the website.
  • Generate code snippet: Once you have customized all the required settings for capturing leads, click on the “Create” button provided by Callerdesk platform.

STEP 3: Embed the code in your website

Copy the generated code snippet which is visible under "KEY" Column and paste it into the HTML code of your website. After adding the code snippet, save your changes to your website and publish it. The Web Call Tracker widget will now be live on your website . You can place it in any of your website page, wherever you want the widget to appear.

That’s it! You have successfully set up the Callerdesk “Web Call Tracker” widget on your website, allowing you to capture leads from visitors through live call back, SMS lead capture, email lead capture, and direct connection on WhatsApp.

Step 4: Update option

You can edit your website URL by clicking on the “Action” icon.

Step 5: Preview

You can also preview and test how your widget will appear by clicking on the provided “KEY” URL.
